Arkanor
Overview
Arkanor is a demigod from an ancient myth of the Heptad. According to tradition, he was the son of a king and Orvan, the god of war and courage.
When he reached the age of sixteen, the two Sisters of Dreams appeared before him. Karetha promised him power, glory, pleasure and immediate rewards. Aretha promised him hardship, effort and the pursuit of what was right, with the respect of mortals and gods as his only reward.
No law or divine command compelled Arkanor to choose a particular path. He chose to follow Aretha.
The myth is used as a parable about the free choice of virtue and the belief that consciousness allows a being to recognize and choose what is good.
