Hiro Soroyoto
Overview
Hiro Soroyoto is a member of the Soroyoto dynasty and the brother of Akiro Soroyoto, father of Akirado and Raiken Soroyoto. He belongs to the older generation of the family and chose decades ago to withdraw from politics, power, and the internal conflicts of the empire.
He lives on a farm on the second continent of planet Kageri, far from the prison continent where Raiken exiled his brother Akirado. His life is simple and closely tied to the land, cultivation, and the people who work around him, standing in sharp contrast to the violence and intrigue of imperial politics.
Hiro Soroyoto is portrayed as a calm and contemplative figure, possessing deep knowledge of the history of the Sorestian Empire and the failures of his own dynasty. He encountered Corpers in the distant past and retains a quiet understanding of their role, while deliberately avoiding direct involvement or influence over the decisions of the powerful.
Detached from the conflict between his nephews Akirado and Raiken, he refuses to take sides or actively participate in negotiations, acting instead as a silent witness and moral counterbalance. Hiro Soroyoto embodies an alternative view of life, where meaning exists beyond the throne, authority, and dominion.
