Union of Independent Planets
Overview
The Union of Independent Planets is a loose federation of autonomous planets, without a central authority or unified political direction.
The planets belonging to this union do not participate in any of the three major interplanetary powers, the Liberal Alliance, the Syndarion Union of Nations, or the Order of the One.
Each planet retains full political, military, and economic autonomy, while membership in the union has primarily a symbolic and diplomatic character.
The union functions as a space of neutral coexistence, information exchange, trade, and temporary agreements, without binding mechanisms for enforcing decisions.
The planets of the union differ significantly from one another in terms of technology, social organization, and culture.
