Sensareth
Overview
Sensareth is a planet notorious across the galaxy for its luxury, decadence and the pleasures it offers. It belongs to the loose alliance of the Independent Planets and maintains formal political autonomy, yet its true identity is that of a destination created exclusively for entertainment aimed at those with immense wealth.
On Sensareth almost every form of pleasure is available, legal and illegal. Vast resorts, private beaches, endless parties, exclusive clubs, luxury cruises and extravagant feasts reminiscent of ancient Roman banquets define daily life on the planet. Money governs everything, from access and privilege to survival itself amid excess.
Behind the bright lights operate shadowy markets of human exploitation. Many sex slaves are brought to Sensareth from poor worlds outside the hard core of civilized space, such as Nareth, to satisfy the demands of the wealthiest visitors. Human life holds little value, and exploitation is treated as a routine aspect of the planet’s economy.
The planet is also known for extreme forms of entertainment, among them man hunting. This practice involves hunting humans for sport and is reserved exclusively for those with truly enormous fortunes. Few speak of it openly and official denunciations are virtually nonexistent.
For members of the Order of the One, Sensareth represents the complete inversion of faith and measure. It is a world where desire becomes law, weakness is praised as virtue, and individuals lose their inner axis. Many believe that anyone who passes through the gates of Sensareth rarely returns as the same person.
Despite its infamous reputation, Sensareth continues to receive visitors from all major powers of the galaxy. Its existence highlights the contradictions and hypocrisy of galactic societies that publicly condemn what happens there, while at the same time sustaining it through their wealth.
