Tem Korval
Overview
Tem Korval is a general of the Nalmora Rainlands on planet Nareth, a coup plotter and insurgent leader who attempted to overthrow King Ven Taloras and the government under the pretext of corruption and political decay.
His power relied on a secret arrangement with Mechory traders, who provided him with illegally sourced advanced weapons, financing, and direct communication through a holo device, within a broader network of loans and dependency.
Korval sought decisive technological superiority by acquiring sareth rifles, veltor grenade launchers, draven machine guns, anti armor weapons, ammunition for all systems, and energy weapons, which were stored and moved through covert deliveries at locations such as Black Orchard.
During one of these transfers, the Corper Evlyn detected the Mechory cargo craft and attacked, destroying part of the truck convoys, but failing to prevent the dispersion of several shipments into the rainforest terrain.
The air force of the Nalmora Rainlands launched on Korval’s orders to bring Evlyn down, but suffered losses, exposing the technological inferiority of local jet fighters against a Corper craft.
Korval was later left weakened after the coup failed, and he received two Kastrani military advisers, Eirik Vorn and Haldor Skell, who redirected his strategy toward a campaign framed as national liberation from the Order of the One.
With limited forces but superior weaponry, Korval organized an armed assault on an Order of the One base in the Nalmora Rainlands, achieving surprise, collapsing the defense, and inflicting a complete defeat on the Forsworn.
After the victory he ensured his image was captured and distributed, transforming himself from a failed coup plotter into a symbol of resistance and a national liberator for Nareth.
